The Problem

Melba Swintex, the UK’s leading supplier of traffic management products, faced a series of marketing challenges. Despite their strong position in the industry, their online presence lacked professionalism and didn’t effectively showcase their leadership in the market. Their website and marketing materials failed to reflect their success, and their ad-hoc email campaigns were inconsistent, leading to missed opportunities for product launches and customer engagement.

The marketing resource was stretched thin, struggling to inform customers about new product ranges and innovations, which meant their efforts weren’t reaching their full potential. This inefficiency was taking valuable time away from other critical business operations.

As Melba Swintex looked to expand into Europe, they encountered even more complexity. They lacked the data and strategic focus needed to launch targeted campaigns in new regions, especially in markets where they had not yet established a foothold. Without a structured approach, their expansion efforts were slowed down, limiting their ability to grow internationally.

It was clear that they needed a comprehensive marketing strategy to streamline their efforts, improve their online presence, and drive growth, both domestically and across Europe.

The Solution

Solvi Digital crafted a focused marketing strategy to streamline Melba Swintex’s efforts, ensuring their resources were directed toward the highest ROI areas. We conducted a content shoot day to highlight their product quality, creating professional visuals that could be used across their platforms to elevate their brand. We also took over the management of their LinkedIn page, driving engagement with both new and existing customers by sharing updates and innovations consistently.

For their email marketing, we developed a more structured approach, implementing regular campaigns to inform their customer base of new products and industry updates. This helped increase visibility and strengthen relationships with existing clients.

To support their European expansion, we produced a targeted cold email prospecting campaign. By identifying key markets and regions, we developed highly personalised emails designed to connect with potential clients in untapped areas. This approach enabled Melba Swintex to make inroads into new markets while maintaining their stronghold in the UK.

By handling these marketing tasks, we allowed Melba Swintex to focus on core business operations, while ensuring their marketing became more efficient, consistent, and results-driven.

Client Quote

“Getting Solvi on board at Melba Swintex has allowed us to free-up valuable time to focus on more critical business operations whilst increasing our online presence thanks to the team implementing a completely packaged marketing strategy. Their ongoing work is vital to our brand identity and is allowing us to discover new leads within new markets. We are ever grateful to the commitment and detail with which they supply and hold them responsible for our successful marketing techniques.”

— Product Manager, Melba Swintex

The Results

Our marketing efforts delivered impressive results for Melba Swintex across multiple areas. The targeted cold email prospecting campaign focused on their European expansion generated six new business opportunities within the first three weeks of the campaign running. This allowed them to gain traction in new markets, helping them enter previously untapped regions efficiently.

On LinkedIn, from January 1st to October 12th, Melba Swintex experienced remarkable growth. Their follower base grew by 27%, while their overall reach expanded by an astounding 2,466%. This led to a 1,968% increase in impressions and a 1,082% rise in profile visits. These gains significantly enhanced their online visibility, allowing them to connect more effectively with their audience, further solidifying their position as a leader in the traffic management sector.

PB Asher // Event Stand

About PB Asher

PB Asher supplies high-quality marine engine parts and technical support to ships across the world, working closely with shipowners, engineers and procurement teams who rely on consistent service and trusted expertise.

Our Partnership with PB Asher

Solvi Digital have supported PB Asher with social strategy, content and creatives throughout the year, helping the team strengthen their digital presence and elevate their visibility in the lead-up to major industry events. IMPA London was one of their two flagship shows, and the stand was positioned as a key moment for driving footfall, building brand distinction and creating a standout experience on the exhibition floor.

Breaking Through the Corporate Monotony

PB Asher knew exactly what waited for them at IMPA London: row after row of almost identical corporate stands with branded backdrops, logo walls, and the same tired setup repeated across the floor.

They wanted something different, something that would stop people mid-stride and actually make them want to approach. The brief was simple: create a stand that felt alive, that reflected PB Asher's personality, and that would stand out among the crowd.

Building a Trade Show Flagship

The goal was to create an exhibition presence that matched the professionalism and character PB Asher brings to their marine engineering partnerships, coupled with  strategic thinking some creative flair to cut through a crowded B2B trade show.

Why We Built a Pub at a Trade Show

Drinks were being served at the stand, and that single detail unlocked everything.

Instead of hiding hospitality behind a standard bar, we leaned into it and proposed turning PB Asher's space into a traditional British pub. The concept worked on multiple levels by giving people a clear reason to approach, creating an environment where conversations happened naturally, and letting us tell PB Asher's story through design details rather than cliched corporate messaging.

From Concept to Reality

Exhibition Stand Design & Production

We designed a complete pub environment with wrap-around graphics, creating a continuous, immersive space where every surface served a purpose. The design exuded personality, but the industry focus was clear, making it quirky enough to be memorable yet polished enough to maintain credibility. We delivered print-ready files with full technical specifications, ensuring that what we designed on screen translated accurately to the exhibition floor.

Hidden Details That Sparked Conversations

The pub theme let us embed storytelling throughout the space in ways that rewarded engagement. A "bar menu" listed PB Asher's services instead of drinks, while hidden engine parts were scattered across the graphics to reward closer inspection. A window showed a container ship at sea, linking the pub setting back to PB Asher's maritime world and grounding the playful concept in their industry reality. Each element sparked conversation while demonstrating engineering expertise, turning casual visitors into engaged prospects.

Building Anticipation Before Doors Opened

We built anticipation through social media teasers in the weeks before IMPA, using spoiler graphics to reveal design details gradually. Each post positioned the stand as something worth seeing in person, driving footfall before doors opened and ensuring PB Asher's space was already on attendees' must-visit lists.

The Stand That Became a Landmark

The stand delivered exactly what PB Asher needed, becoming a recognisable meeting point on the exhibition floor where people naturally gathered and lingered. Conversations happened organically in the relaxed pub atmosphere, and PB Asher stood out exactly as intended among the sea of conventional corporate setups.

The pub concept delivered immediate impact at IMPA while generating content that extended value for months afterwards, proving through both design and execution that PB Asher was willing to approach trade shows differently. It demonstrated creativity and confidence that matched their technical expertise, reinforcing their position as partners who understand that business relationships thrive in authentic, welcoming environments.

Commercial Interiors

Eden // Rebuilding Eden's Digital Foundation

About Eden

Eden specialises in commercial interiors and workplace fit-outs, delivering high-quality spaces for offices, corporate environments and complex refurbishments. Their team manages the full journey from design and planning through to build, installation and aftercare, creating spaces that support how organisations work.

Our Partnership with Eden

Solvi has supported Eden with creative, content and social strategy throughout the year, helping the team strengthen their digital presence and elevate their visibility across paid media, LinkedIn and content marketing. The website project represented a critical milestone in building a stronger and more consistent commercial presence, focused on long-term growth and brand clarity.

An Outdated Foundation Holding Them Back

Eden's existing website told the wrong story. It looked amateur, felt outdated, and bore no resemblance to the premium commercial fit-outs they were delivering across the UK and Ireland. The structure was clunky, the mobile experience was poor, and there was barely any content to demonstrate capability or build credibility.

The team couldn't confidently share the site with prospects or use it in client conversations. There was no way to showcase projects properly, no case study system, and no tools to help qualify or engage new enquiries. For a business delivering high-quality workplace transformations, the website was actively undermining its authority.

Creating a Digital Presence That Matches Their Work

The goal was to build a website with the standard expected from a leading commercial interiors firm, supported by the kind of strategic framework that drives long-term results. The new site needed to function as a credibility asset, something Eden could confidently point prospects and framework partners towards as proof of quality and capability.

Translating Premium Interiors Into Digital Design

Eden delivers premium commercial fit-outs, so the website needed to reflect that same level of quality and attention to detail. We developed a modern design direction with a darker theme, stronger contrast, and a clean aesthetic that showcased their brand style and tone. The visual approach had to translate the sophistication of their physical projects into a digital experience that felt equally polished and professional. The site needed to work as hard as their project teams do, functioning both as a showcase of past work and a platform for future growth.

From Concept to Credible Platform

Complete Website Rebuild

We designed and built a modern, premium website that finally matched the quality of Eden's commercial interiors work. The new site introduced cleaner navigation, improved user experience, and a mobile-optimised structure that worked seamlessly across devices. We developed a scalable framework that could grow with the business, ensuring Eden had a platform they could confidently use for the next seven to ten years.

The design direction moved away from the outdated aesthetic of the old site, introducing a darker, high-contrast look that emphasised professionalism and premium service delivery. Every element was crafted to reinforce Eden's positioning as a credible commercial interiors specialist.

Structured Case Study System

We built a CMS-driven case study framework that allowed Eden's team to add new projects easily without needing development support. This system gave them the ability to showcase real work, demonstrate range and capability, and build a growing library of proof points that strengthened their credibility with prospects. The case studies featured project photography, client testimonials, and detailed breakdowns of scope and delivery.

Interactive Project Cost Calculator

We developed a bespoke calculator tool that sits on the site to attract and qualify future enquiries. The calculator provides indicative project costs based on space requirements, encouraging early-stage engagement while helping Eden understand prospect needs before formal quoting begins. This tool required a custom technical build and close collaboration with Eden's project team to ensure accuracy and usability.

High-Quality Visual Assets

We integrated new photography and video from a dedicated shoot day, capturing client testimonials, project footage, and office environments that elevated the brand's presence. These assets brought authenticity and credibility to the site, showing real people, real projects, and real results rather than relying on stock imagery or generic content.

Full Tracking and Analytics

We implemented Google Analytics 4, form attribution tracking, and optional tools that identify companies visiting the site. This provided Eden with proper visibility into visitor behaviour, lead sources, and content performance, supporting smarter decision-making for future marketing activities.

A Platform That Finally Reflects Their Quality

Eden now has a website that accurately represents the quality of their work and supports their long-term commercial goals. The site gives prospects confidence, strengthens relationships with existing framework partners, and provides a central place to host case studies, testimonials, and project content.

The new platform allows Eden to capture better insights through tracking, support ongoing content and social campaigns, and act as a credible foundation for new business conversations. It demonstrates their capability from the first interaction, positioning them as a premium commercial interiors partner who understands that details matter.

The website delivers on its core purpose: functioning as a trust-building asset that reinforces Eden's authority and professionalism in every prospect conversation. It translates decades of commercial fit-out experience into a digital presence that finally does their work justice.

Facilities Management

UFSS // Paid Search

About UFSS

UFSS is a commercial cleaning and facilities support company serving London, handling regular and specialist cleaning for offices, student accommodation, events, schools, care homes and hospitals. They focus on securing long-term contracts ranging from £1,000 to £50,000 per month, where return on investment matters significantly.

Our Partnership with UFSS

Solvi Digital partners with UFSS as their dedicated marketing arm, managing Google Ads campaigns and cold email lead generation while advising on the wider funnel strategy. We've worked together for 18 months, delivering ongoing activity across PPC management and outbound prospecting to maintain a steady pipeline of contract opportunities.

Scattered Spend, Unclear Returns

Before working with Solvi, UFSS were running PPC campaigns in a fairly ad hoc way. Limited targeting and optimisation meant they were spending on clicks without seeing enough qualified commercial cleaning enquiries. They also had very little tracking or structured follow-up around those ads, which meant they couldn't clearly see what was working or scale it with confidence.

The result was wasted budget on broad searches and poor visibility into which campaigns actually generated contract opportunities. For a business where individual contracts can reach tens of thousands of pounds monthly, this represented a significant missed opportunity.

Rebuilding from the Ground Up

Solvi audited and rebuilt UFSS's PPC campaigns from scratch, tightening the targeting around their highest-value commercial cleaning services and London locations, improving ad copy, and cutting out wasted spend on irrelevant searches.

Precision Targeting for Commercial Cleaning

We restructured campaigns to focus on high-intent searches like "office cleaning London," "commercial cleaning London," and "commercial cleaning company London." The new structure captured users actively searching for professional cleaning services rather than one-off residential jobs. We optimised bid strategies to prioritise weekday searches between 9 AM and 5 PM when decision-makers were most active, while reducing spend on low-converting weekend traffic.

The data showed clear patterns. Our campaigns achieved a 29.68% impression share with a 70.88% top-of-page rate, positioning UFSS ahead of competitors like Bark, Clenova, and other commercial cleaning providers competing in the same auctions. This visibility mattered because commercial cleaning buyers typically compare multiple providers before making decisions.

Conversion Tracking That Actually Works

We implemented proper conversion tracking across the entire lead funnel, from initial website interactions through to qualified lead submissions. This gave UFSS clear visibility into which campaigns, keywords and ad groups generated actual enquiries rather than just traffic. Every lead could now be traced back to its source campaign, allowing us to scale what worked and pause what didn't.

The tracking revealed that their office cleaning campaigns generated the strongest conversion rates, while broader "commercial cleaning" terms brought higher volume but required more qualification.

The Numbers That Matter

Over the past year, the average cost per conversion sat at £210. Through continuous optimisation of targeting, bidding and ad copy, we've driven that down to £128 in the last 30 days. That represents a 39% reduction in acquisition cost.

The office cleaning campaign alone generated 109 conversions over the past year from 1,442 clicks and 60,191 impressions, spending £22,947. In the last 30 days, performance accelerated further with 14 conversions from just 96 clicks and 3,370 impressions for £1,801. The cost per conversion in this recent period hit £128.66, while conversions increased by 88.78% compared to the previous month.

Beyond the headline numbers, the campaign maintains strong competitive positioning. With an impression share above 26% and consistently appearing in top-of-page positions at rates exceeding 68%, UFSS's ads reach decision-makers at the exact moment they're searching for commercial cleaning services in London.

The lead funnel data shows healthy progression from initial interactions through to qualified enquiries, with 96 interactions converting to 17 raw leads. This efficiency means UFSS pays for genuine interest rather than casual browsers, a crucial distinction when average contract values reach tens of thousands monthly.

Profitable Growth Through Precision

The transformation of UFSS's PPC campaigns demonstrates what happens when targeting, tracking and ongoing optimisation work together. By focusing the budget on high-intent searches, eliminating waste, and implementing proper conversion tracking, we've built a system that consistently delivers qualified commercial cleaning leads at a cost that makes sense against contract values.

For businesses where individual contracts can exceed £30,000 monthly, a £128 cost per qualified lead represents exceptional return on investment. The campaigns now operate as a reliable lead generation engine rather than a question mark in the marketing budget, giving UFSS the confidence to scale spend during peak demand periods while maintaining profitability.

Video Marketing for UK Manufacturer
Manufacturing

Melba Swintex // Product Testing Video

About Melba

Melba Swintex operate within the manufacturing and impact protection sector, supplying barrier systems and safety products used across industrial, construction and logistics environments. Their products serve customers who rely on proven performance, reliable compliance and clear engineering standards before committing to large orders.

Our Partnership with Melba

Solvi Digital have partnered with Melba since early 2024, working as their dedicated industrial marketing agency to support the business across social media management, email marketing for both the UK and European markets, and paid media campaigns. This includes the launch and ongoing optimisation of PPC activity, with recent work directed towards a custom moulding campaign designed to attract larger industrial opportunities.

When Slow-Motion Footage Isn't Enough

Melba's barriers and impact products needed stronger evidence behind their performance claims. Customers in industrial sectors demand proven stability, regulatory compliance and real-world testing data before placing large orders. Previous content relied on slow-motion clips and static demonstrations that looked impressive but failed to show how the products were engineered to meet strict testing criteria or why those details mattered.

The team needed footage and explanations that would build genuine trust with technical decision-makers and procurement teams. This challenge required a comprehensive content marketing approach tailored specifically for manufacturing businesses.

Turning a Test Day Into a Content Goldmine

We filmed a full testing day at the Mira wind tunnel and transformed it into a structured digital marketing campaign that demonstrated how the products perform under regulated conditions.

Capturing the Evidence That Matters

We planned and scheduled the entire shoot day, securing the venue at Mira wind tunnel and coordinating the testing schedule. We captured slow-motion impact footage, behind-the-scenes setup shots, and on-camera explanations from Dan and Phil. Dan discussed product development directly to the camera while Phil explained what the testing meant for customers, giving context to the forces involved and the compliance standards being met.

Creating Multiple Angles From One Shoot

From this single test day, our team produced numerous video versions tailored for specific social platforms. This included shooting the raw footage, editing multiple cuts, and creating a bank of high-quality assets for LinkedIn and wider marketing channels. The content ranged from short clips highlighting specific test results to longer pieces that walked viewers through the entire testing process.

The manufacturing social media strategy focused on delivering technical proof points in digestible formats, with each video optimised for platform-specific audience behaviours.

Rolling Out a Strategic Campaign

We created and scheduled the campaign across a planned period, carefully timing video releases alongside supporting copy that highlighted testing criteria, forces and regulatory frameworks. Each piece of content is built on the previous one, allowing customers to see the testing process, understand the standards being met, and trust the performance claims.

The Numbers Behind the Impact

The campaign generated 395,000 impressions over 45 days and sparked genuine enquiries from potential customers asking for product demos and exploring what Melba could offer their operations.

Between October 2024 and October 2025, Melba's social presence generated 1.64 million impressions, establishing them as a visible and credible voice in the impact protection sector.

Most significantly, the evidence-driven approach we built for Melba opened doors to substantial commercial opportunities. Our work supporting their market positioning helped generate a quote that they proposed to a European company for manufacturing roof tiles. The value of that quote sits at €1.7 million.

Building Trust Through Transparency

The Mira wind tunnel campaign proved that technical B2B marketing works best when it shows rather than tells. By investing in proper testing documentation and turning regulatory compliance into compelling content, Melba positioned themselves as a transparent, engineering-focused manufacturer in a market where credibility determines contract value.

This approach to marketing for manufacturing companies delivers results because it addresses what industrial buyers actually need: verifiable proof, engineering validation and transparent demonstration of standards compliance. The campaign delivered immediate engagement while creating a reusable content library that continues to support sales conversations, bid processes and brand positioning months after the original test day.
