However, as a small business owner, the founder of Customer IQ was struggling to find the time and resources to deliver their services effectively.

Business Challenges


Like many small business owners, the founder of Customer IQ was juggling multiple responsibilities, including delivering their services, finding new clients, and managing the day-to-day operations of the business. This led to a lack of time and resources to focus on improving their processes and tools, resulting in frustration and a feeling of being stuck. A lack of structure around the lead generation and sales process made it difficult to predict revenue and land new projects when required. 

Impact of Marketing Strategies


For Customer IQ, we prepared a consultative project that would provide the business with the tools and strategies they needed to improve their marketing efforts and reach their target audience more effectively. The project included the use of several tools, including Ortto for email campaigns and email flows, Dripify for automating LinkedIn activity, and Veed for editing video clips and adding subtitles.

During phase one of the project, we supported Gideon Barker, the founder of Customer IQ, to build an irresistible offer that would attract and engage prospective customers. We implemented this strategy in the form of engaging monthly events. Running successful monthly events required a number of changes to the current marketing process, including the introduction of new landing pages, email automation & content marketing. The marketing process provided to Customer IQ is intended to be repeatable and efficient, to ensure the setup and marketing of each event would take less than 5-6 hours per month. 

In terms of the tools used to implement this solution, we recommended using Ortto to create email campaigns and automated flows, which helped Customer IQ to target their audience more effectively, engage with existing lists, and maximise attendance to events. They also started using Dripify to automate their LinkedIn activity, which saved them time and increased the number of connections that were aware of the event. With the help of our team, they were able to produce webinars more consistently, and they used the tools provided to find people interested in their webinars, produce the content, record it, and share it more effectively.

The Impact

They were able to save time and resources by automating some of their processes, which allowed them to focus on delivering their services more effectively.
